WineSmith 2006 Cabernet Franc | Cabernet Franc, the father of Cabernet Sauvignon, is one of the most challenging of grapes. Excellent wine only results from a rare convergence of technical skill, an artisinal hand, a well-farmed vineyard in the right place and a vintage blessed by Mother Nature. | $60.00 | Available
WineSmith 2005 Cabernet Franc | Because of our “ Because of our “day job day job day job” as winemaking consultants, we decided in 1993 to establishthis challenging grape as our signature varietal. It’s a wine which requires skill to do well, and is capable of great depth when properly made. Since then, we have developed the reputation for some of California’s best Cab Francs. This is perhaps our finest effort to date. | $60.00 | Available
Petit Manseng (375ml) | This crazy grape produces a Sauternes-style dessert wine in southern France in the regions of Jurançon and Pecherenc du Vic Bilh, a white wine appellation superimposed on Madiran, where I received my tutelage in postmodern winemaking techniques from my guru, Patrick Ducournau. | $25.00 | Available
2007 Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley) | The Quail Ridge vineyard just north of Sebastopol is one of the most renowned Pinot Noir vineyards in the famed Russian River. Such wines can have unbelievable longevity potential which is seldom exploited. This wine received eight years' aging in 20-year-old French oak and developed astonishing nuances, yet remains full of fresh black cherries that mark the Russian River. My cellar hands counsel us to serve this wine whenever romance needs a boost. | Available
2013 Saint Laurent (Ricci Vineyard) | This was my first year working with this fascinating variety from an experimental planting at Dale Ricci’s vineyard in Sonoma Carneros, a team effort guided by my talented colleague Dave Noyes, formerly of Ridge and Kunde. | $30.00 | Not Available
2014 Saint Laurent (Ricci Vineyard) | This grape has very tight clusters and does poorly in humid climes like France, preferring high altitude where dry air and high UV suppress mold. It is widely planted in Austria and is the principal red grape of the Czech Republic, where it is known by its German name, Sankt Laurent. It matures very early, near the martyrdom date of Saint Lawrence of Rome, who was executed by Emperor Valerian on August 10 of the year 258 AD. | $40.00 | Available

2007 Pinot Noir | The Lynmar Estate vineyard just north of Sebastopol is one of the most renowned Pinot Noir vineyards in the famed Russian River. To create a complete wine, we decided to blend clone 115, a Dijon clone noted for tannin structure and cherry fruit, with Clone 667, from which we’d get perfume and spice. We were careful not to pick overripe so we could make a wine of freshness, energy and integrity which would age well. | $75.00 | Not Available |
